About us 

Our Story

Malbak Aboriginal Corporation was formed in 2022 by a group of strong First Nations leaders from Marlkawo Homelands, West Arnhem Land.

To create a better future for our people—on our Country, in our way.

Malbak became operational in 2024, after two years of planning, listening, and building partnerships.

We are led by Directors and Board Members, all First Nations Australians from the Bolmo Tribe with deep ties to West Arnhem.

What drives us?

• Culture – We protect and share our knowledge, language, and sacred places.
• Community – We support our people with health, transport, food, and opportunities to return home.
• Country – We care for the land through tourism, land management, and cultural knowledge.
• Connection – We bring together partners from government, charities, and local services to walk alongside us.
  
  
  

Today, Malbak is:

• Running Anwarrbarr Tours, our own cultural tourism business
• Delivering training and jobs for people on Country
• Helping elders and families return home for Sorry Business
• Advocating for our homelands in Darwin, Jabiru, and beyond
